The Home Screen on an iPhone typically contains multiple pages, each filled with apps that you can easily access. While some users prefer to keep all of their apps organized and accessible, others may find it cluttered or overwhelming. To help keep your Home Screen organized, you can hide and show pages as needed.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to hide and show Home Screen pages on an iPhone:

  1. Tap and hold on any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to jiggle and a small menu appears.
  2. Tap the dots that appear above the Dock at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to the Edit Pages screen.
  3. You'll see all the Home Screen pages as small thumbnails at the top of the screen. If you want to hide a page, tap on the circle beneath its thumbnail. The circle will turn white with a line through it, indicating that the page is now hidden.
  4. To show a hidden page, simply tap on the circle beneath its thumbnail again. The circle will turn gray, indicating that the page is now visible.
  5. Once you're done hiding or showing pages, tap the Done button in the upper right corner of the screen to exit Edit Pages mode and return to the Home Screen.

It's worth noting that you can't hide or show the first Home Screen page, which always contains at least one app icon. However, you can rearrange the app icons on this page as needed.

This feature can be particularly useful if you have a large number of apps and want to reduce clutter on your Home Screen. You can hide pages that contain apps you use less frequently and show them again when you need to access those apps. It can also be helpful if you want to temporarily hide sensitive apps from prying eyes.

Overall, hiding and showing Home Screen pages on an iPhone is a straightforward process that can help you keep your device organized and decluttered.
