By default, WhatsApp provides a limited set of ringtones to choose from, but users can choose their preferred sound or song from their iPhone's music library and assign it as a custom ringtone for WhatsApp.
This allows users to easily differentiate between incoming calls or messages from WhatsApp and other apps or contacts, and add a personal touch to their messaging experience.
Here are the steps to customize your WhatsApp ringtone on an iPhone:
- Open WhatsApp on your iPhone.
- Go to the "Settings" tab at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Tap on "Notifications" and then on "Message Notifications".
- Scroll down and tap on "WhatsApp Ringtone".
- Here you will find a list of all the available ringtones on your iPhone. You can choose any of these ringtones as your WhatsApp ringtone.
- If you want to set a custom ringtone, tap on "Pick a song" at the top of the screen.
- This will take you to your iPhone's Music library. Choose the song that you want to set as your WhatsApp ringtone.
- Once you have selected the song, you can drag the timeline to choose the specific part of the song that you want to set as the ringtone.
- Tap on "Save" to set the custom ringtone as your WhatsApp ringtone.
That's it! You have now customized your WhatsApp ringtone on your iPhone.
